The California Jug Band Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich history of jug band music. Our journey began in 2002 with a humble gathering of California musicians in Sutter Creek, which quickly blossomed into our signature annual event: the International Jug Band Festival. Today, we remain committed to keeping this unique American art form alive and accessible. Funded entirely by community support and donations, the CJBA brings musicians and fans together through free festivals, lively performances, and hands-on workshops across the state.
